 Ashis Mridha
A thousand memories from his childhood and adolescence crowd his consciousness and familiar characters endowed with his thoughts transform themselves to unfamiliar forms on his canvas. The men and women, flora and fauna in his creations disappear into the horizon in search of the unknown. His created characters, though close to him, sometimes wander into the unfamiliar haze leaving sweet pathos in its wake.
