 Samsul Alam
A thousand memories from his childhood and adolescence crowd his consciousness and familiar characters endowedwith his thoughts transform themselves to unfamiliar forms on his canvas. The men and women, flora and fauna in his creations disappear into the horizon in search of the unknown. His created characters, though close to him, sometimes wander into the unfamiliar haze leaving sweet pathos in its wake. Though an effort has been made to organize space and colour, nature in the form of man,woman and animal is reflected on canvas with the depth of reality.
